Having joined Supervisor Ron Roberts’ staff in September of 2008, Thomas Ledford serves the Fourth District as a policy advisor responsible for land use, general services, housing, and airport issues. He also is the liaison to many communities in San Diego’s southeastern corridor.
Thomas attended the University of Southern California where he earned a bachelor’s degree from the School of Policy Planning and Development. He next completed his master’s in public administration at San Diego State University.
While finishing his undergraduate degree, Thomas worked in the office of Los Angeles City Councilmember Bernard Parks. After returning to San Diego, Thomas took a position in the city manager’s office in Coronado. His experience also includes serving as assistant project coordinator for Ledford Enterprises Inc., a public policy firm.
As a native San Diegan, the Ocean Beach resident is glad for the opportunity to begin his post-college career in his hometown.
