BACKGROUND:
The Board of Supervisors authorized the Subcommittee of Chairman Ron Roberts and Vice Chairman Greg Cox to negotiate an Employment Agreement with Mr. Ekard. This Agreement includes a compensation package that provides a 9.5% salary increase for Walter F. Ekard as the Chief Administrative Officer. The agreement is now being presented to the Board of Supervisors for approval and ratification.
