Lei Zhang - Community Representative

A native of China, Lei Zhang joined Supervisor Ron Roberts’ office in the spring of 2007. She serves as the Fourth District’s liaison to the Asian communities and also works on transportation issues.

After receiving her undergraduate degree in economics from Peking University in China, Lei moved to the United States where she continued her education at the University of California, San Diego. Before joining Supervisor Roberts’ staff, Lei worked in marketing research for Founder Group, one of China’s most innovative and influential high-tech companies. She got a taste of the nonprofit world while working as assistant to the Asia desk director at the World Trade Center in San Diego.
