Jason Farran was born and raised in Malibu, California.
Following graduation in 1996 from Malibu High School, Jason enrolled
at San Diego State University
where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, with a minor
in History. Jason is an alumnus of
the Sigma Pi Fraternity where he was essential in the re-establishment
of the fraternity on the S.D.S.U. campus.
Upon graduation in 2000, Jason joined Team Roberts where he has contributed
much to San Diego County's success, helping to make it one of the finest
places in the world to live and work.
Jason proudly serves as Supervisor Roberts' liaison to the communities
of Little Italy, Serra Mesa, College Area, Clairemont,
and Linda Vista.
Jason provides policy advice on issues pertaining to Air Quality, Energy, Public Safety, Gangs, Disaster Preparedness, Fire Preparedness and Response, Information Technology,
Libraries and Animal Services.
Other responsibilities Jason is responsible for include Community Projects Grant Funding, Community Enhancement Grant Funding, appointments to County Boards and Commissions as well as the Supervisor's web site and internship program.
Jason currently resides in the College Area, a community within Supervisor
Roberts’ Fourth District.
