With the distinction of being the longest-serving member of Supervisor Roberts' staff, Charista Toomer is in charge of scheduling and office managment.

She joined the office in 1995 as a receptionist, and in 2000 she was promoted to scheduler/office manager.

A native San Diegan and graduate of Crawford High School, Charista has resided in the Fourth Supervisorial District all her life.
